About me

I am a psychotherapist and family counselor, practicing since 1998. I have a Masters degree from Southwest Texas State University (now Texas State University at San Marcos) and am licensed for independent practice by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors. I have received Level II EMDR training, Past Life Regression Therapy training from Brian Weiss, and Reiki Master/Teacher training. I am also a Board Approved Supervisor of LPC Interns. I am not a physician and therefore cannot recommend or prescribe medication nor perform any medical procedures. I work with adults, and adolescents, couples and families.

I came to therapy as a second career after 20+ years working in a university library system. I loved library work, but in my early 40s decided it was time for me to find something deeper and more personal to lend my talents to. I have raised three amazing children, and done my own personal growth work, all of which contributes to my creativity and effectiveness as a therapist. I am always learning and love to share my insight, ideas, spirit and love with clients to help them along on their path.
